WASH stands for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. WASH with Amici project by Amici du Amici foundation would aim to improve the health and well-being of targeted communities by addressing these essential areas.

Summary

The WASH with Amici project, launched by the foundation in April 2024, aims to enhance community health and well-being through improved access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facilities. By addressing challenges and implementing strategic interventions, the project seeks to create lasting positive impact and empower healthier lives.

Challenges

Despite progress, communities face significant WASH challenges. Limited access to safe drinking water, inadequate sanitation facilities, and low awareness of hygiene practices contribute to waterborne diseases. Insufficient infrastructure and funding further hinder sustainable solutions and long-term impact.

Aspirations

The WASH with Amici project aims to overcome challenges and achieve meaningful outcomes. Through surveys, practical solutions, and hygiene education, it seeks to reduce diseases, empower communities, and advocate for policies supporting long-term sustainability. Ultimately, it aims to create healthier communities with improved health, dignity, and quality of life.
